14 january 2012    The E-class vessel Edith Maersk visits for the first time full-loaded the Port of Antwerp. The ship, built in 2007, has a capacity of 15.500 TEU, and moored without any problems in the new Deurgangckdok. Maersk Line is planning regular visits of this E-class container ships.    TOP

5 october 2011    The 236-meter, Liberian flagged, MSC vessel Rena strucks on the Astrolabe Reef in New Zealand on 5 October 2011, after a change of course to the Port of Tauranga, taking a shortcut. Floating containers and debris have been washed ashore after the cargo ship Rena split in two during rough seas. The ship has spilled 350 tonnes of oil, and almost 100 shipping containers.    TOP
